Peggy admits that she misses Al and decides to go visit him. Later they go out together and make up, so, the Bundy clan reborns from the ashes like a phoenix bird.

As in the previous part, Al and Peggy break up and Al moves out from the house. He stays into a dilapidated
apartment, near an airport, which makes it more unpleasant to live in (because of all that crazy noise).
In spite all this, he invites Griff & Jefferson to his new place in order to celebrate.
Peggy suffers with a broken heart and the kids try to cheer her up. Meantime, Marcy and the entire neighborhood have a happy parade and fireworks, celebrating Al's departure.
Later, the girls and the guys go to the same bar to pick-up guys/girls. Peg ends up finding herself a man, who the kids love.

In this episode, Bud Bundy, gets Kelly a new acting job, where Kelly has to face and compete her enemy Heather. As two smart and educated young women, they duel and they end up challenging each other to a boxing match. Kelly starts a hard training program and as a result she kicks Heather's ass.
Menawhile, the Al-Peggy team loose big time in a "Know Your Spouse Board Game" against Marcy-Jefferson team and Griff-His girlfriend team. After this loss, Al and Peggy decide to consult a marriage counselor, as Marcy and Jefferson suggested. There they start to blame each other, fighting and finally break up.
